21st birthday is a mystery thriller. It is the 21st chapter of the Women’s Murder Club novel series. It is written by James Patterson and co-authored by Maxine Paetro. James Patterson has an exceptional fan following not only in the USA but all across the globe. If you want to experience the best works of the author then Instinct is the novel for you. The zoo is another phenomenal book from the writer with such a pleasing and mind-blowing suspense mystery story.

The audio narration of the 21st Birthday book is done by January LaVoy. She is an excellent performer. This type of story is not ideal for someone with the sweet voice of January. However, it was a satisfactory performance overall.

    21st Birthday

When a young mother and a wife named Tara went missing along with her infant girl then everyone had their eyes set on Lucas. He was her husband. He was the one who painted her not only as a missing person but also as a rebellious wife. But then, gruesome evidence was discovered which turned the entire scenario of that criminal investigation. Cindy was a crime reporter of Chronicle. She pursued the story. Then there was Claire Washburn who harbored several theories that were all against the official investigation. ADA Yuki of SFPD came with an unexpected suspect which turned that case upside down.

The plot of the book seemed to be convoluted. It has a very simple storyline and it somehow didn’t succeed logically. It sounds repetitive as well at times especially if you have gone through a few of the other novels in the Women’s Murder Club novel series. This is not one of the best works of James Patterson.
