AUDIOBOOK FOR YOU - TOKYBOOK!

Murder at the Manor: A 1920s Cozy Mystery is the first installment in Tommy & Evelyn Christie Mystery. It is a suspenseful mystery-thriller novel. The book is written by Catherine Coles. She is a German-born author of mystery novels. If you are a fan of such types of novels then do check out her Murder at the Wedding Chapel novel. Another excellent murder mystery title from the author is Murder in Belgrave Square.

The narration of the subject title is done by Alex Lee. It was a very beautiful and powerful performance that will make you deeply involved with the story.

The story in this novel started with the character of Evelyn Christie. She resigned herself to another boring, long weekend to have at Hessleham Hall. It was the home of Tommy’s family who was her husband. But, it turned out to be quite a dull experience, especially when the Earl of Northmoor, his uncle got shockingly murdered.

Murder at the Manor: A 1920s Cozy Mystery

Evelyn in that situation must look to employ all of the investigating knowledge that she gained while she was part of the Police force during wartime. She could use that knowledge to trace the murderer well before the time when the local police decide that Earl got bumped off so Tommy could just inherit is the grand title.

The story will keep you guessing throughout and that will be the intriguing part of it. The voice actress did a wonderful job as well. If you are a fan of bygone era’s glamour or the cozy mysteries that are set in the picturesque English countryside then you will not only love this novel but the entire series as well.
