Detective Kim Stone Crime Thriller, Book 4
The description of the characters and the language that is used in the story perhaps possesses less fire power if compared with the rest of the volumes, still the story is unique and attractive for the listener who like Angela Marsons’ work especially in the voice of Jan Cramer who has developed the status of a good narrator of the thrilling series. Her voice also suits for this role as it possesses depth and gravity that is needed for such a creation.
The plot takes Kim to a body farm this time where decomposition of human bodies is studied thus it is not a place for people who are weak at heart, Kim unveils a deadly plan of a criminal group who has been hiding its victims in this body farm so that no one can ever suspect that the decomposing one was actually murdered somewhere else. The most troublesome thing for the squad this time is that they are surrounded with hundreds of bodies and thus they cannot search all of them whether they were killed or it was a natural death, moreover, all the bodies are in precarious state and thus getting clues from each is almost impossible.
The whole case becomes serious when Tracy Frost a reporter is kidnapped before Kim and her team reaches to any solid clue. The thrill and the action at the climax is the same as it can be seen in the previous books like Evil Games and Lost Girls. The scene of crime is different this time and also the way of killing is one of a kind and the killer appears to be of a sick nature as well who likes the human bodies to rot and decay.
