She has saved those who didn’t want to get saved or perhaps they were reluctant to borrow any kind of help. The Moving Finger was the previous part of the series and it told us about the skill of Marple.
She started the case with a single note that was found with the dead body and then she came up with the evidence which was stunning. Actually, the credit goes to Agatha Christie i.e the author of this series who comes up with such a brilliant plot all the time. The duty of narration was on the shoulders of Emilia Fox in this part and so far this change has been going well with the series.
Jane Marple again decides to help the local people who are in a state of worry after reading a strange thing in the local gazette. It has been said that a murder will take place on Friday, October 29th. The killer has even mentioned the time of the murder which has made everyone feel awed.
Now people have gathered at the place where the murder is said to take place because everyone wants to know about this strange statement. Marple is also there but she is not standing to see the scenario rather she is going to stop it. There is another problem i.e no one was ready for the lights out which means that the killer is already there and he is ready to execute his plan in front of everyone.
