If you’re familiar with Armie Hammer, you know what a capable actor he is. He has a soothing and melodic voice that overshadows the rest of the novel.

It is the story of a powerful romance that blooms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at the Cliffside mansion of his parents on the Italian Riviera. They verge towards the one thing which won’t appear again – total intimacy.

Aciman and Hammer make a good team. They each complement the craft of the other. Their efforts result in one of the most beautiful books of the genre. It is a poetic book of love, romance, passion, and desires.
