The author has done a brilliant job with the introductory chapter and this full one is nothing short of a treat for the fictional novel fans. A few other quality novels from the author are Dark Stranger Revealed and Dark Choices: The Accord.
Charles Lawrence has done the narration of this novel and he looked to be the best choice for this part. His accent had clarity and the expression was quite apt with the characters and the mood of the novel.
The paranormal foresight of Syssi gets her a job in the neuroscience lab of Dr. Amanda Dokani. But, it couldn’t predict the dramatic turn that her life would take. She had no idea that her boss is an immortal who would drag her into a mysterious millennia-old battle over the future of humanity. She also had no idea that the imposing brother of the professor is a mysterious person who has been starring in her dreams for a long.
Since the start of human civilization, the descendants of gods have been shaping its destiny quite secretly. Kian at his luxurious apartment in L.A. is surrounded by a clan and all alone. The members of the clan are forbidden to each other while Kian along with his kin has resigned to a lonely existence for quite long which was for fleeting trysts along with their human partners.
The storyline of the novel is quite decent and the character’s development was also quite good. The experience of the audience was good enough to wait and try the second novel in the series.
