Personal feelings, love, association, and the motive to live have been some of the themes which the author has used in his creations. Books such as Tuesdays with Morrie or Have a Little Faith are good examples for those who want to taste a few of the best creations of Mitch Albom. Not only Mitch is a very good writer, but he has also proved himself has a very good narrator too over the years.

Almost all of his masterpiece books are presented to the audience in his own voice. This novel is about a relationship i.e a bond between a mother and her son. Words selected for this story are clearly out of this world because they are just perfect for the scenes which are narrated perfectly too by Mitch. Charley was given a choice in his life and he thinks that he has selected the wrong person for himself.

His father told him long ago that he can live with his mom or dad. Charley thought that living with his dad would be a lot more fun but he was wrong because his father left him when he became an adult. He had to work hard for a living and then the situation just didn’t get better. He lost his job and also became an addict. For his bad reputation, Charley was not welcomed at his daughter’s marriage. This hears broken individual goes on a tour in search of the issues that he has faced in life and thinks about where he has gone wrong all these years. It is about self-awareness and decisions which we take in our life without a second thought in our minds.
