Keeper of the Lost Cities is an exciting novel for kids. It is written marvelously by Shannon Messenger. The book is part 1 of the exciting Keeper of the Lost Cities novel series. Overall, this entire series was a huge success and this starting novel is just the beginning of things. It won many awards and stood as bestselling series in new York Times as well. The author has done some splendid work for young audience, which makes him standout among his contemporaries. A couple of good novels from the author are Lodestar and Everblaze.
The narration of this chapter is done by Caitlin Kelly, who managed to make this audiobook a memorable one. Kids just love to hear it on a loop as it is so much grasping for them.
The story in this novel is about a fine young telegraphic girl, who should find out that why actually he is the key source to her new world? She need to get answer for this before any unwanted or wrong person gets to the secret.
Sophie, a 12 years old girl has never been able to fit well in her life. She has skipped quite a few grades and she is not able to connect well with the older kids in her school. But on the other end, she is not having any good time with her family and she is not comfortable at home either. The reason is that Sophie is a telepath. She is someone extraordinary who could read minds. There is no one there who actually knows her secret. This is what she thinks, at least. But things started to change for her when she met a mysterious and adorable boy named Fit. At least she knew that she is not alone.
