The sensation continues with another novel by Emily Littlejohn, perhaps the best of the lot as it touches your heart and soul if you are a mystery lover. The amazing thing about the writer’s work is that she has not changed the scene of action right from book one Inherit the Bones.

It’s the same areas all the time with a new crime and a new criminal with challenging skill and Gemma though fulfilling her duties as a mother as well always responds to a case in a positive manner.

This time the case starts with the call about a missing person near the Lost Lake that tends to be a famous tourist spot and no such thing has ever been reported. But this single news brings a havoc as the rest of the people on the camping side also come under the same threat. They feel their lives on stake as well because it appears from the crime scene that it was not the first and last attack of the criminal.

    Lost Lake

The story is highly complex and become more and more intense as in goes on. Because Gemma for the first time feels that the three friends of the lost girl are not telling the truth about her disappearance and perhaps they are hiding terrible secrets related to the disappearance of Sari who was a curator by profession.

The narration by Harper Landry continues to mesmerize us with the enchanting voice that the narrator possesses and the narrator has used her full potential in each and every part of this series, it is because of Harper’s narration that the element of mystery is highlighted to a great extent in the novel.
