The Sight Unseen is a suspenseful mystery thriller. It is the second installment in Kendra Michael’s novel series. The book is written by Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen. It is a mother-son authors’ duo that has given some excellent mystery thrillers together such as Close Your Eyes. Moreover, A Face to Die For is another engaging novel that Iris Johansen wrote individually herself.
The narration of Sight Unseen is done by Elisabeth Rodgers. You will find this one as a decent performance which wouldn’t cause you any trouble and neither will it fascinate you a lot.
There was a lethal multi-vehicle pile-up seen on the historic Cabrillo bridge of San Diego. It was a horrific accident. Kendra Michaels rushed to the scene and her initial investigation suggested that the accident was way more sinister than it appeared to be.
Kenda has been blind for many decades and just recently got her eyesight back through stem surgery. Her special observation skill was highly wanted by the CIA and as well as FBI. The astonishing conclusions that she made opened up a vast multi-jurisdictional inquiry.
It found her once again teamed up with the federal and FBI agent Adam Kyle. They both worked together to uncover a conspiracy that someone would keep on killing people to protect that conspiracy. The killer spread a lethal web of many lies and deceit. In that scenario, the life of Kendra was all hanging in balance as well as the lives of all those who were dear to her.
Sight Unseen has a great story but the character development was not so good. You will find most of them self-centered with angst to a ridiculously higher degree. The editing of this audiobook also needed some work to be done.
