The sixth book in a row and Brynne Asher is not done yet so it is astonishing to note that an author has so much to write on a single theme. The princess was running in order to find help in this tale and she finds a dead man instead who is ready to do anything for her. Kit Swann and Jason Clarke have paid equal attention to both of these characters because both have the same worth in the continuation of the story.
The dead man or the one who calls himself the ghost has seen everything in his life and he has been hiding for a long time because he didn’t want anyone to discover him. He thinks that he knows everything about crime and evil present in this world but after seeing the princess, he finds in him a strange kind of feeling that he has never felt before. He tried to get away from that feeling because he was afraid that he might have to cross a few barriers for that.
Then the feeling kept on going stronger after the passing of every day and he finally decided to embrace it. Now he does not only want to save the princess, but he also wants to have it for himself alone. If someone is familiar with Betrayed Love and Broken Halo then going to the core of the story would not be a big problem for him.
Usually, authors write about true love or finding love at first sight. Here there is no such case when the two characters meet and the attraction develops later on. Initially, it is just a need that makes the two stay together.
