Suicide Run is a collection of short stories and anthologies from the Harry Bosch novel series. It has three police procedurals from the Harry Bosch series. The author is Michael Connelly. The author has made a huge fan base for himself through his detective and police procedural novels. Among his best books, you will surely find The Last Coyote: Harry Bosch Series, Book 4 as one of them. After this, his The Late Show novel will also make a very good listen.
Len Cariou is once again found as the narrator of this box set from the Harry Bosch series. His performance was top notch and the listeners will have a good, enjoyable time with this audio.
The “Suicide Run” tells the story of an apparent suicide case of a charming young starlet. It turned out a lot more sinister than it appeared to be initially. Harry Bosch found this as an extremely tough case in his entire detective career.
In “Cielo Azul”, LAPD Detective, Harry Bosch was haunted by a case that was closed long ago. It was the murder case of a young teenage girl where the investigators failed to identify her. Her killer was on death row and Harry Bosch made one last attempt to get the much-needed answers which he had sought for so many years.
Finally, in “One Dollar Project”, Harry Bosch worked on the murder case of a pro poker player whose excellent game skills had led her with more than one enemy.
These are nice, short, and enjoyable stories. You will find them weaving in seamlessly with the earlier Harry Bosch books. These three short stories are highly recommended.
