Tehanu is the 4th episode of the Earthsea novel series. It is a beautiful science fiction fantasy categorized for teen & young adult audience. However, other adult age groups may find this novel quite soothing as well. The book is written by Ursula K. Le Guin who is known for her best and award winning works in the subject novel series. If you take a deep look in her archives then the best novels that she has produced are The Unreal and the Real and Words Are My Matter.

The author in the Earthsea novel series made the first change for the performer where Jenny Sterlin replaced Rob Inglis. It was a brave move to replace Rob who has been doing the job quite wonderfully well. However, Jenny proved to be equally as good and her performance was loved by all.

    Tehanu

Many years before, they had managed to find their way out of the sinister Tombs of Atuan. She is a lonely young priestess and he on the other side is a resourceful wizard. Now she is a widow of a farmer and have preferred for herself the simple pleasures that one can have in life. He on the flipside is an old mold who is mourning over the loss of his magical powers, which was not something that happened by his choice.

You will find this novel a bit different from the prior three episodes of the Earthsea series. It is quite entertaining and several of the audience rank it as the best from the Earthsea series so far. The book provides quite an introspective and critical look over the female intuition. It also talks about the expectations of the society which sometimes could knowingly or seen unknowingly impose things that are not warranted.
