The Burning Room is the 17th chapter of Harry Bosch’s novel series. This crime fiction and mystery thriller is written by Michael Connelly. If you like to enjoy Harry Bosch’s character and the novel series then go with The Black Box novel. Another recommended book written by Michael Connelly is The Last Coyote: Harry Bosch Series, Book 4.

The audio narration of The Burning Room is done by Titus Welliver. He is a relatively new narrator but performed very maturely. You will enjoy his performance and would hardly have anything to complain about.

In the Open-Unsolved Unit of LAPD, not many victims were known to die after 10 or more years after the actual crime was committed. But, when a man there succumbed to different complications from being shot nine years earlier Harry Bosch caught that case. It was the case where the dead body was still fresh but any other evidence or clue of that case was virtually nonexistent.

    The Burning Room

Now, Harry Bosch and Lucia Soto, a rookie detective were given their task to solve a politically sensitive and highly charged case. They had to also resolve the mystery of the bullet which had been lodged for so many years right into the spine of the victim. Along with that, they both had to pull all of the new leads through that years-old information. This would then hopefully prove that the shooting incident was anything but random.

It is very easy to trust Michael Connelly as an author as he rarely disappoints his followers. You can expect the same this time as the book is awesome and is very expertly narrated as well.
