Since book one the series is inclined to bring old legends, relics and myths to life. This time it’s related to an old fable that has been passed on from generations to generations. “Eye of Heavens” starts to emerge in the novel as Sami and Remi Fargo once again start their expedition accidently once again.

The husband and wife were just on a climatic control tour on an island when they found a Viking ship that was preserved by the ice. There are not only frozen men on the ship but also artifacts with amazing history.

    The Eye of Heaven

The team starts the research and they found something about the god Quetzalcoatl as well. Thus the race against time once again starts for the husband and wife as those hungry for power and wealth are on to them once again. The Fragos on the other hand try to reveal a mystery that has been buried in the ice for thousands of years but it could cause them their life as well.

    The Eye of Heaven

Clive Cussler and Russell Blake have put up a great show together as the book possesses certain historical references to the Viking as well. It means that the two writers have searched a lot for the accurate details about the pre- Colombian era and the myth related to the eye of heaven i.e the sun. Scott Brick continues with the series quite well with his narration as he has narrated all the parts from book one Lost Empire.

In the third book The Mayan Secrets he experimented a bit with the tone but the rest of the parts are with the same pace and tone. The listeners too want hear Scott’s voice in the series because they now have become familiar with it.
