The narration of this chapter is the strongest part of its audiobook.
The credit for this goes to Luke Daniels, who was exceptional throughout the series and was widely acknowledged for his performance. Luke daniels has a lovely voice and he managed to make the Shane MacKade character much larger than life. However, he must not be trying too much for playing the women and children.
Shane MacKade is a person who is known for enjoying each and everything about women. This includes their looks, their smell and even their taste. Therefore, the last thing that he could have ever expected is to become a one woman man. An even more surprising thing was PhD academic Rebecca McKnight, who actually has him completely headed for a big fall.
