This series does not possess an official narrator as every part is narrated by a different narrator. It is good to notice that there is no issue in the narration at any level. All the narrators have done their job equally well. Here it is Richard E. Grant who didn’t have any role in The Body in the Library or A Murder Is Announced, the narrator has proved that past experience was not needed by him.

There is another noteworthy thing that cannot be sidelined and that is Agatha Christie’s touch which the author provides to the books. Miss Marple has a habit of solving difficult and tough cases. She does not get tired at all because she loves her job and is ready to get the job done all the time.

    The Moving Finger

Previously we have seen her skill as a clever investigator who can get to the core of the matter within no time. She solved even those cases which had no clues apparently and were considered dead or buried cases by the police. Lymstock i.e the town in which Marple works is also strange because there is always something going on in this part of the world.

The sending of hate mail is a common issue in this town and no one is bothered by these details. So in such a town and under such circumstances when Mrs. Symmington commits suicide after writing a final note, there is no one who is moved by it. The police do not try to go deep because after all, it was a suicide but that is not something that Marple believes.
