Listening to the series has been a wonderful ride although the narrator present in the story has never used encouraging words the story is appealing. It does not scare anyone to a great extent but there is not a lot of stuff to cheer about either. The primary characters have been under a lot of stress from the beginning because of the terrible circumstances which they had to face on daily basis.

Eating the stinky porridge is the least of their worries now because they have grown up and can fight for their survival. Over the years, Violet, Sunny, and Klaus have helped other fellows as well so we cannot say that they have been trying to survive only or thinking just about themselves. Like warriors on a battlefield, they have been marching on and have been defeating villains who have tried to take over. The Wide Window and The Miserable Mill had different villains who were skilled in hiding their identities.

    The Vile Village

It was up to kids like Violet and Sunny to unveil the mask in order to portray the reality in front of the audience. Lemony Snicket’s work has been best understood by the narrator Tim Curry that’s why he has narrated different parts of this series without any kind of error.

This time, the three children are in a village and the horizon of trouble has increased. There is not a single villain rather they are surrounded by an entire mob who is not ready to allow them to escape their deadly fangs. Some strange people are also recording everything about the three orphans so the plot is bigger than their expectations.
