The Winner’s Kiss is the third and final installment in the Winner’s Trilogy. It is a science fiction fantasy for younger audience. The author Marie Rutkoski excels in the genre and always manage to bring something special for children. The Midnight Lie and The Winner’s Curse are two of her other books that did quite well for the author and her audience from the young age-group.

The narration of this novel is done by Justin Eyre. The performance as a whole was satisfactory but it could have been much better as in parts, there were some low and dull moments in performance.

The war has started and Arin is right in the thick of it. He has finally succeeded in giving up on the memories of Kestrel, even if he is not able to forget her completely. Kestrel turned into something that he couldn’t recognize at all.

But on the far north lies a definite work camp where Kestrel is kept as a prisoner. Is it possible for her to escape before she could lose herself?

As the war gets more intensified, both Arin and Kestrel fund some really unexpected roles in the battle, fragile hope and some terrible secrets as well. The world is taking a sharp turn and changing big time. The East is potholed fully against the West, while both Arin and Kestrel are caught right in the middle.

There couldn’t have been any better ending to this fantastic series. The character and story development was just outstanding. The book and the entire series rather is all worth your time, especially if you are looking for something best in younger audience category.
