Arc of a Scythe, Book 2
In this book the characters, Citra and Rowan have divergent views when it comes to the morality of the Scythedom. However, they have to find a way to sort out their differences because the Thunderhead is likely not going to interfere.
It just tries to watch what is going on, but it doesn’t really love what is going on between the two parties.
After about a year, Rowan has become one of the most feared executioners, becoming the bane of corrupt scythes. Many who hears his trial by fire execution pattern know he actually means business. On the other hand, Citra is still not in line with the “new order”. But when her methods were questioned and she received several threats, it became clear to here that change is one of the hardest things to teach.
There are certainly good and bad moments in any book. What makes a good book is when there is a sequential line of intriguing and interesting scenarios. That’s exactly what you’ll get from this roller coaster of a book.
When you start following this audio boo, you wouldn’t want to get it down until the very end. The author, Neal Shusterman, did not disappoint, especially with the presentation of the lead characters.
It’s an entertaining fiction that keeps producing surprising plots after plots. It draws the reader’s attention to the real even as if there were actually part of the events. Some may find the book a bit cliché half through. But it does get more enthralling as the plot and other characters unfold.
Thunderhead is a sequel to Scythe by . This is why it is very easy to link the two books together. We would advise that you go through the previous books before reading this one. Everything will make more sense to you that way.
