Wolves of the Calla: Dark Tower V
The fifth chapter is very neatly linked with the previous four and the taste of the listener is not disturbed except for the narrator that has changed. George Guidall the one who started the epic has again played the role of the narrator. The intensity of the epic though remains the same but the feelings sometimes are disturbed as the listeners for three volumes very attached with Frank Muller.
The dark tower is near in this part but the gunslingers also try to save the village of Calla from the attacks of the wolves which only they can. Thus battle at two different levels starts all of a sudden. The battle to reach the dark tower and also the battle against the wolves in order to save the people who were begging the help of the gunslinger.
In the fifth part, the whole story recombines as well and we again get a brief description as well. The King’s whole fictional work this one is the masterpiece whether you read the book or hear it audio version. The audio version this time lacks a bit of energy but still, we get used to it in no time and very quickly involve ourselves in the progress of the story instead of the dialogue delivery. The quality of each volume as of the The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger and The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three and The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger including this one is that you may listen to all of these novels but you can understand each of them individually for sure. Each is a different struggle though the motive is the same.
