Fade Awa is a brave attempt by novelist, Harlan Coben. It is a crime mystery thriller with amazing suspenseful story and strong characters involved. The book is part 3 of the Myron Bolitar novel series. The narration of this 8 hours long novel is given by Jonathan Marosz in a highly grasping and delightful tone, which you will surely enjoy.
There was a home in a picturesque suburban area of New Jersey. The living room of the house had Martha Stewart. Then, the basement of the house was the real terrible thing, which had Legos and lots and lots of blood.
Myron Bolitar, the sports agent and a tennis enthusiast is fully involved in another case of brutal killing to be investigated. He is chasing this time for the facts related with the disappearance of the person, Greg Downing, who he used to compete against once in the tennis court.
All this was bringing back some real strong memories of both together. Greg and he were both romantically involved with the same woman, who was the female tennis player once in their group, and got brutally murdered later. Myron is now looking to unravel the facts among the wannabes, among the stars, the groupies and the gamblers. All this hunt for the truth brought him face to face with a likable past, which he cannot imagine or relive now.
If you want to engage yourselves in more novels by Harlan Coben, then Don’t Let Go and Back Spin should be the first two that you should listen to. Both are great mystery thrillers and will make you enjoy with its great strong characters and powerful narrations given.
