Just hold on tight because the horrible things linked to the life of three orphans will just keep on coming. Lemony Snicket narrated The Wide Window very successfully and now the author has narrated this one on the same standard. The next part The Austere Academy is also narrated by the author so get prepared to listen to the voice of Lemony Snicket for a long time.

There are no pleasant experiences in this series and the pinching situations keep adding up to the troubles of the three orphans. Looking for a happy ending or pleasant moments then this book is not your type at all. Seeing leeches all around and getting filthy soup for the dinner are a few of the things which are going to ruin your taste for food too.

    The Miserable Mill

It is astonishing to find that the author had so much in mind for this series which has just come halfway now. The bad circumstances always bring someone bad for the kids too. There have been villains in the previous episodes and now there is a man who smokes a lot. Wherever he goes there is a constant cloud of smoke that covers his face.

This is also symbolic in the sense that he is placing a smoke screen in front of him in order to keep his original identity hidden. The narrator is telling the audience everything and he has been the one who is bringing all the details to us since the beginning. There are more threats, accidents, and problems yet to come in the next two or three episodes of the series.
