Her challenge is not just solving the mystery behind the murder. She has her own secret she is seriously trying to keep. She wants to hide her pregnancy, especially now that her job requires her to stay seriously focused at all cost. Meanwhile, Vic Fazzio, Tracy’s colleague, is taking the fall for an investigation that went wrong some time ago.
All these plots and counterplots surrounding Tracy the lead character makes this book a very interesting one. The author presented the characters in a direct manner that makes it easy to identify who is capable of what.
Nonetheless, the suspense lies in the preceding actions, as they seem never-ending. When you think everything has calmed down, the next phase of action always takes the reader by surprise. It’s an interesting book that has all the ingredients of a true action thriller.
