Billy Summers is an action and adventure novel. This is the title of the legendry writer Stephen King. He is highly regarded for his work on horror fiction where he has given plenty of novels that will mesmerize you a lot.  The Stand is the all-time fantastic horror fiction from the novel. The reputation of his The Dark Tower IV novel is also quite amazing.

The audio narration of Billy Summers is done by Paul Sparks. He is an inexperienced narrator with not many vocal performances done before. This experiment turned out to be a disaster as the listeners had big trouble listening to him.

    Billy Summers

Billy Summers was a man with a gun inside a room. He was a contract killer and was known as the best for doing the job. But, he would only commit to killing someone when he knows that the given target is a bad guy. Billy this time wants to quit but there is one last target which he has to attempt.

    Billy Summers

Billy is known as the best sniper all around the globe. He was a highly decorated Iraq war veteran. He was amazing at vanishing from the scene quite quickly once his job is done. So what could go wrong here one last time? Some surprising twists are waiting for you in the story. You must check out this novel to find all the answers by yourself.

The book is quite well written and you will find the story easy to follow as well. This one is filled with some really exciting characters. Stephen King once again has impressed all his fans, while the vocal performance was disappointing.

BULL! I completely disagree with this unkind and horrible comment. I’m a huge Stephen King fan and an even bigger audiobook fan. I think this narrator did a fabulous job. He does a better job than the author – forgive me SK.

    2. The book is awesome as was the reading by Paul Sparks. I believe he caught the very essence of Billy Summers and the other characters exactly as SK envisioned when writing them into the story. The tempo was great and kept me listening more intently because of the short chapters in chapters.

    4. Mr. King continues to amaze. I loved this story and can only thank him for a beautiful book and one with great narration by Paul Sparks. I am 62 years old now and started reading books by Stephen King as a teenager. I think Carrie or The Dead Zone was the first of his books I read. The very end of this book is what I feel like when reading his books or in this case listening. I am taken to another world where anything is possible. I have learned so much from each of S.K’s books. In my humble opinion, his best novels are those where the monsters are human. Though ALL of them are fascinating and thought provoking. I have also learned to listen carefully to the books of OTHERS he often mentions within his own writing. I am hoping to find the book he mentioned by Emile Zola -Therese Raquin – Narrator: Kate Winslet
Publisher: Audible.com- I have read so many great books due to SK’s book recommendations. Thank you so very much for sharing Billy Summers with us. I truly appreciated listening.
