Out of all Lisa Gardner’s works this series surely stand tall among the rest. The writer’s true professionalism sparkles in each word and scene. This third book of the series can be really makes you live a nightmare. Each time Nicky Frank is on the road she is facing terrible accidents and it means that someone quite close to her wants to close the chapter of her life once and for all.In Love You More  and Touch & Go we don’t see such incidents happening again and again. The stories revolved around a single incident that was been investigated till the end. Nicky Frank the woman who is out of her mind has nothing left in her life except of her hope of finding a missing girl.

    Crash & Burn

She is not clear whether her name is really Nicky or the missing girl really exists or not. Still the police look all over the spot for the girl but no trace is found. Luckily Nicky’s husband appears on the scene and tells the police and the investigating officer that she is facing certain psychological issues and the things that she says are not true. Though Sergeant Wyatt Foster believes everything what the man said but still suspicion never left his mind. As he gives the case a second glance he comes to know that the woman has been facing such attacks more than once for the last several months.

In each attack she survives because he tries desperately so that she can find the missing child. No one knows who that missing child is or it is just the creation of her imagination. Christina Traister and Mikael Naramore have narrated slow but the tone is surely not low and they have used their full pitch to fulfill the ingredients of a thriller.
