The Constant Princess is a historical fiction novel. It is masterfully written by Philippa Gregory. She is a brilliant writer and has proved her worth in literary writing domain time and again with her spectacular novels. The Other Boleyn Girl and The Lady of the Rivers are a couple of her most prominent novels. They are also historic fiction and the audio version of these is literally fun to hear.

The Constant Princess is a chapter from the highly tempting The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels. Katherine is the daughter of King Ferdinand Queen Isabela of Spain. She has been fated her entire life to marry the Prince of England, Arthur. When they both met and married, then the couple becomes a passionate one as much as their political expedient. Both of them used to revel in company of each other and plan that what they would make England being together. But, a huge tragedy awaits when Arthur became ill at the tender age of 15 only. He extracted a deathbed promise from his 16 years old wife to marry henry, his brother. She will become the queen then and that will help her to fulfil all her dreams including destiny.

    The Constant Princess

She is widowed now and all alone in her world of the Tudor court. Katherine had no choice other than to sidestep the desire of her own father in law and actually convince him. She had to convince that her marriage with Arthur by no means is consummated and there is no issue for her to marry Henry.

Karina Fernandez has done the narration of this chapter and was brilliant in her voice, expression and accent. There is also an afterword given by the author to conclude this phenomenal chapter from the series.
