Different Seasons gives you a complete refreshing experience of 4 different novellas. First one is the ‘Hope Springs Eternal’ which talks about the story of an innocent convict who plans for a very dramatic revenge while he was imprisoned for no reason. The famous ‘Shawshank Redemption’ Hollywood movie is inspired from this novel, which got nominated for the Best Picture in the Academy Awards.
The ‘Summer of Corruption’ is the second novel about a teenage boy and his curiosity to explore everything about an old man with a very violent and dull past. The fantastic ‘Apt Pupil’ movie is an adaptation of this novel.
The third one is the ‘Fall from Romance’ part where the story revolves around 4 furious young boys and their horrific experiences with life and death, which actually were the consequences of their very own principles. The story was beautifully depicted in the must-see ‘Stand by Me’ movie.
The last but not the least is the ‘A Winter’s Tale’ novel where a low-life humiliated woman strives hard to deceive death.
