It was a girl enjoying her life in her vineyard in the first part of the series. The name of the book was Vines and it was quite precise according to the story. Brynne Asher then came up with Paths in which a woman was trying to hide from her past and also from everyone else around her.
Then she got the perfect man who was ready to protect her from any kind of danger because he had nothing else to do in his life. Kit Swann and Jason Clarke start with the narration of the female character first who is living with her kids and does not possess the support and love of a man. Though she has tried to stay in a relationship she has failed in a bad way so she has decided to take care of her kids and also the animals she has on her farm.
Asa Hollingsworth is the second character in the story and he is also busy taking care of his kids. He is not interested in anyone except his kids and he is not looking for any relationship with a woman. However when he sees a woman standing on the road waiting for a car, his attitude toward life changes.
Later there are troubles for these two characters who have decided to plan a life together. From bullies at school to drug cartels in the city, everyone decides to come in Asa’s way and he is not going to allow anyone to get in the way of his dreams. Whoever dares to come in the way will be kicked out of the city forever.
