    This time however Jack is not helping someone rather he is trying to save his own skin as he is arrested in a murder case, a murder that he has not committed, at least not this one of which he is being punished. He is without resources because he faces a lock up situation at the very beginning when he arrives Margrave, Georgia. Jack is sure about one thing that he has not committed such a crime on this part of land so everything is a part of a big conspiracy that is Jack is dealing with.

    The writing of Lee Child is error proof like always and the description has become clearer and the plots have become stronger as the series has emerged. Also despite of Jack’s appearance as a killing machine he still successfully presents himself as a nice person in front of us because his motives are always holy in nature and the people he punishes or kills are almost all the time criminals or wanted men.

    The narration by Dick Hill is better if we compare it with the chapters Past Tense and Killing Floor as the much needed aggression was missing in those parts or was a bit less in magnitude, but in this novel its perfect.`
