Legends

Legends join hands to create this book that is also named as “Legends”, Robert Jordan, Terry Pratchett and Orson Scott Card show their true mastery in this book. Short but mesmerizing novels are produced by the three authors and all of them have selected their best works for this particular book.

Robert Jordan became famous with his series “The Wheel of Time” in which he produced books like The Eye of the World and The Great Hunt . Now the author continues with it in this book by producing a sequel to it.

The only change that is witnessed is the length of the story which is quite small as compared to the older versions. This first story of the book can be listened without any disturbance in the daily routine.

Sam Tsoutsouvas narrates it smooth and on a moderate pace which is pleasant to the ears. The second one is in the voice of Kathryn Walker, writer by Terry Pratchett who takes us once again on a tour of the Discworld where fantasy happens in a new way. There is action haste and the element of surprise just like we find in other stories about the Discworld.

There are also some odd skills of some of the main characters in this second tale that are worth to listen because no such thing has ever been introduced in literature before. Orson Scott Card in the voice of Frank Muller ends the book with the latest fantasy that the author had in stock and this story will take all your tiredness away for sure. Though the stories are not interlinked but all of them are so interesting that no one can put the book down without listening to the whole of it.
