Those with no connection with the first five books of the series can get a fresh start from the sixth part of the thriller. This book is connected with the previous part of the series but it also provides the background linked to Jordan and Kate’s families. Jordan is finally out of the hospital and she has come straight to the ceremony which is going to join her brother and her best friend together forever. She never thought that she would be able to form any kind of family bond with Kate but there it was in the form of Dylan.
Everyone was having a good time at the ceremony when one of Kate’s relatives told them that the marriage could not take place because there is a lot of bad blood between the two families. The Buchanan stole a treasure from the Mackenna family which started the rivalry and it has lasted to the present day still. Jordan gets really disturbed because she wasn’t expecting such a terrible surprise on the day of her brother’s wedding. She decides to clear her family name not only for the wedding but also for the dignity that she likes to keep.
Julie Garwood made things personal for Dylan in the previous episode and here it has become a serious matter for Jordan. Jordan goes to the place where everything started and there a devil is actually waiting for her. For the Roses and Hotshot kind of mesmerizing book is here for the audience and the story goes a long way back for all of us. Joyce Bean ie the narrator for the job hasn’t taken any break while narrating the story that’s why there is compactness in everything.
