Blackwell Family just ruled supreme in the first part of the series in which Kate Blackwell took control over the empire. Kate not only took control over the empire she also enlarged it and made the company of her forefathers a strong fortress that cannot be taken down.
Now many years have passed and Kate is not there in the world however her predecessors are trying to run the company by following her footsteps.
There is a long list of competitors in the family who want to take over but in the end, there would be only one who will rule supreme. Authors Sidney Sheldon and Tilly Bagshawe first introduce two characters with the names Eve and Alexandra. They happen to be the granddaughters of Kate and they think that no one knows the business better than them.
Lexi also has her clever plans for the task and with her father’s help, she hopes that her chances to become the Mistress of the Game are quite bright. Later Karen Ziemba narrates another character named Gabriel McGregor who has a link with the family but has lived his life in poverty since the beginning.
He also has his eyes well set on the target and he is of the view that it is his time to shine more than anyone else. Master of the Game and The Other Side of Midnight will please you to the core of your heart. Still, if any of the fans like to see a big competition among tough rivals then this is the main part on which he should concentrate and there is nothing to skip here.
