It was Finn who saved Peyton’s life when she was just a child and he too was very young. We can say that the crush took place at that time but the two characters were too young to understand the feelings which developed between them on that occasion.
After that incident, the two moved on with their lives. Peyton became a food critic in the town and Finn joined the FBI. The two didn’t meet for several years until one day Finn found a beautiful looking woman on his doorstep who told her that her name was Peyton. Peyton comes to Finn once again for help because she thinks that her life and the life of her sisters are in danger.
Peyton was actually fired from her previous job because of many reasons and at that time she was told that she had inherited a resort along with her sisters. There is one condition i.e the sisters should generate a profit at the end of the year in order to prove themselves worthy of the possession.
It was a nice little challenge that was that tough but when Peyton came to the place she realized that there were many people who wanted to stop her from succeeding in that business. On one occasion she almost got killed so she wants Finn to look into the matter personally and help her in the best possible way.
Fast Track is the next book after this one but there is not a lot of similarity in the stories still both are awesome. If a listener wants some change in the story to a large extent then he should go for The Wedding which is also written by Julie Garwood. Amy McFadden has also made a difference in the book through narration. This makes the book ideal for those who want romance and action in the same place.
