Midnight Horizon is a chapter out of the Star Wars: The High Republic novel series. This is a teen & young adult novel. The book is written by Daniel Jose Older. He is an American author of young adult fiction and fantasy novels. The author has a few really good books to his name and one of them is Ballad & Dagger. Another worth mentioning title of the author is Last Shot.
The audio narration of Midnight Horizon is done by Todd Haberkorn. The narration was substandard and that didn’t impress the listeners at all.
The Republic after a stint of staggering losses seemed to eventually have the infamous Nihil on the run. That scenario looked like there was some light at the end of the tunnel. Then the word came of a suspected Nihil attack which was on Corellia, the industrial cosmopolitan world. Sent for the investigation were the Kantam Sy and Cohmac Vitus, the Jedi Masters along with Ram Jomaram and Padawans Reath Silas. They were all fighting their battles after a few good months of unremitting danger.
Ram and Reath on Corellia encountered a young security specialist who was known as Crash. Their friend Crash was one among the victims of the Nihil attack. They teamed up along with her to infiltrate the elite of Corellia while the Jedi Masters on the other side kept on pursuing more diplomatic avenues. However, going under along with Crash was considered to be a lot more dangerous than anyone could have expected.
It will be a fun listen about a few of the other Jedi that we haven’t heard about much before.
