The ninth book of the famous series is here in front of you and if you have started late then you have missed a lot of action up till now. A lot has happened in this series by Shannon Messenger and the good news is that there is still a lot more to come. Caitlin Kelly’s stupendous narration is also going on with the series and this is one special element that should not be left unpraised.
Unlocked and Legacy have magnetic stories in them and those who liked the two books will enjoy this one as well. Sophie started her life alone and she thought that she would never make any friends as she was walking on a dangerous path but now she has friends who trust her more than anyone in this world.
She was leading them properly and they were united in the previous parts but this path is different, here there are a few cracks in the team and the trust issues are rising. Sophie’s leadership skills are needed to tune the band together and she would have tried this too if she hadn’t been called by Black Swan first. Sophie is best at arranging things and calculating too, here she along with the team has miscalculated to a large extent.
The Lost Cities have more than all that catches the eye. Secrets that were buried deep in the core of the cities were not revealed to the heroes and this time they are going to pay the price for their miscalculations. They could have fought better if they acted together but they are not in a mood.
