Dread Nation is the first book of the Dread Nation novel series. It is a teen & young adult novel which is written by Justina Ireland. But then, there were also a few great opportunities there and Jane was studying hard to become an Attendant there. She was trained in both etiquette and weaponry for protecting all of the well-to-do. It was a chance to have a better life for all the Negro girls like Jane. After all, being the daughter of a rich white Southern woman couldn’t even save her from all of the expectations of society.
This book will be a great experience for the listeners to witness zombies and civil war along with the girl who battled hard with both the racism and the undead all at the same time.
