Peace, Blood, and Understanding is a novel written by Moly Harper. After her great success in Where the Wild Things Bite and  A Witch’s Handbook of Kisses and Curses, there was no looking back for her.

The Jane Jameson based Half-Moon Hollow saga is back with another chanting chapter, Peace, Blood and Understanding. It is an engaging and fun paranormal romance, which follows a vampire consultant who is known for her nefarious plans to ouster Jane from her role. Jane Jameson is serving as the head of the vampire council of Half-Moon Hollow.

The narration of this novel is done by Amanda Ronconi, which is for sure a highlight of the audio version of this brilliant novel. Her voice, tonal quality, expression, ability to understand characters and overall performance is absolutely amazing.

Ever since she has been entrusted the role of the head of the vampire council in Half. Moon Hollow, things have been somehow quite unorthodox. This doesn’t go well with the head of the vampire council office. Who would have ever thought about the roles of vampire in tradition and bureaucracy?

    Peace, Blood, and Understanding

There comes a vampire from the corporate who is fully focused to strip off James from her role and also to get the vampire council back on track. This in other way means that no more of mixing with werewolves, witches, humans or anything else. But, Jane is determined and not interested at all in going back to her bad days. The days when the council was filed with immense corruption and was inclined towards eating people now and again, accidentally. But this time, Jane might be in over her head.
