It is time to taken down the enemies in the fifth book of the series by Brad Thor who has still not lost any grip over the main plot. Usually the writer himself tends to get bored after writing two or three books but not Brad Thor who is fueling the series with more and more hits. We have witnessed the sensation in Path of the Assassin and Blowback and still there is not an element of it short. George Guidall now has made himself settled as the permanent narrator of the series which is another edge that the series gets. The narrator now knows fully about the path on which the story is moving.
Scot is trying to get closer to the network in every part but every time he meets a new challenge that leads him away from his mission. First it was the president then the supreme weapon issue and now the things come to New York in the heart of America. It is holiday time in the States and people gather at Manhattan for the celebration of the weekend and no one expected a terrorist attack at such a time. The fire burns the street of the city and the terrorist organization takes the war the citizens of America.
Scot fights his way out from the blood stained streets and the enemy has burned the home of the number one agent of the CIA. It’s time to pay for the sins and the enemy is bound to go down. Terrible fighting scenes and immense mystery really decorate this one and we can hope for a conclusion now which appears to be near.
