That Night is a women’s fiction novel. It is written by Chevy Stevens. If you are interested in women’s fiction or mystery thrillers with women dominating stories then Chevy Stevens can be your go-to author. You will find her at her best in the Those Girls novel. Her debut novel, Still Missing is arguably her best work to date.
The narration of That Night novel is done by Jorjeana Marie which was an extremely annoying performance.
Toni was only 18 years old when she got wrongly convicted along with Ryan, her boyfriends. They had murder charges for killing her younger sister. She turned 34 and worked extremely hard in her hometown to adjust herself to a new life. She was trying everything in her power so that she could avoid violating the parole which will force her to go back to prison.
But, things were going beyond their control and nothing at all made that situation easy for her, and not even Ryan. He was convinced that he could find the truth in the matter. Her mother was thinking differently and she had no belief in Toni’s innocence. This also included that group of women who made her life miserable in high school. They were the ones whose secrets were darker than anyone could ever imagine. Toni must look to risk everything in her life to first find the truth and then clear her name from the case.
This is a very tempting novel and you will find it hard to put down. Thanks to its great story. The only problem with this audio novel is its substandard narration.
