I became excited for this book after watching an interview of Akshat Gupta with Ranveer Allahbadia, and both of the released first two parts of the trilogy. This book starts on a light note grasping the reader’s attention through introducing each character through both physical as well as mental characteristics which was pretty engrossing. I kept enjoying the story as the story progressed and more things are revealed about the infamous hidden hindu which according to me was Om Shastri in this book. Alsi by the end the story turned brutal AF which was quite unimaginable. If you want to know about various yugas in Sanatana Dharma and are looking for the current situation of the 7 immortals of Hindu mythology this book will be perfect for you.
I’m rather disappointed. Poor English. Poorly constructed sentences, poor vocabulary. Manner of writing is dull and boring, like a college class lecture about Hindu Mythology. Scenes drag on and on. Characters’ reactions are unexpected, exaggerated and out of proportion, like children throwing tantrums and having hissy fits. Story is poorly constructed and threaded. It reads like a school child’s attempt at writing a novel. Overall very poor attempt, unfortunately. Sorry i won’t praise someone just because a lot of people praised him.
Being a lawyer at the supreme Court with over 27 years of practice and with a Master’s in English under my belt, do believe me when I say I know something about good English and have read a lot, I mean a REAL LOT of books and novels, so i know what I’m taking about. Sorry, Mr. Akshat Gupta, but perhaps your next will be better written. I wish you best of luck.
