The name is ironic because the child in the novel is not perfect at all, she could be called abnormal because of her behavior. She even disturbs the perfect life of the couple who were planning to have a baby of their own. It’s Christopher and Hannah who are introduced by the author Lucinda Berry as a true power couple. The doctor and nurse in the same hospital have married for quite a while now and the love hasn’t departed since they day they saw one another.
They are professionally skilled and at home they enjoy each other’s company to the maximum still one thing is lacking i.e a child. They have always planned about a child that would bind them even in a more perfect way.
A single night changes their lives forever when the six year old enters their life. Jane appeared at the hospital out of nowhere and as soon as she comes to the scene Christopher formed an association with her. It was a relation that Hannah couldn’t guess and then Christopher forced Hannah to accept Jane in the family.
It was like the child they always needed but then the mystery opens like When She Returned, the girl was never what she appeared to be. She had psychic powers and was attracted to Christopher more and was like an enemy or rival to Hannah. Within no time their marriage was at stake because Christopher was not listening to Hannah anymore. The girl was controlling his mind and Hannah wanted to know why.
The answer to this word really horrifies her to the core and she starts feeling unsafe in her won house and with her own husband. Christine Williams’s solo voice was surely not enough for this teaser and adding Erin Bennett and Dan John Miller has made everything exact.
