The master of fiction Margaret Atwood comes with the second part of her most hit novel once again narrated by a whole team of narrators. All the narrators including Derek Jacobi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Margaret Atwood, Mae Whitman and Tantoo Cardinal have fully concentrated on each and every character that is present in the book.
The first book was a master piece but it was never with a proper ending or it was intentionally left incomplete by the writer because she had the second part in stock for the conclusion.
The republic of Gilead at the start of this part as well possesses its firm grip but something is just not right. It seems that something is rotting from within that will make everything fall to the ground within no time at all. Thus the perfect looking things are facing a drastic threat that cannot be told clearly to all. The three women finally rise for the epic conclusion of this tale that started with The Handmaid’s Tale. Two of these women are related to the first generation and the third one is the one who has powers beyond imaginations.
The story moves with the revelation of secrets related to each woman as they come to terms with their reality or true origin. At the same time they have to keep themselves focused for the achievement of their goal or the thing that they believe is right.
Thus one way or the other the future of the Gilead depends on these three women who have a history that relates them to everything that is around them.
The stakes are high and the situation growing more and more complex at every step.
