Codi Hall is the author of the new era and she knows how to entertain the general public. Her works are not an imitation of the old classics like Great Expectations or A Tale of Two Cities [Tantor] rather this is a fresh start. The stories have a flavor of modernism in them and then the boldness in the characters shows that they are not hesitant to take the next step forward. C.J. Bloom and Lee Samuels narrated the story in a loving tone and this was the one thing that was required from both of them.
The story takes a quick start when a single dad seems to be keeping himself away from any kind of relationship. He does not want to get indulged in any kind of relationship or scandal because he thinks that he has certain duties to fulfill.
Then there is a woman living close to his house who to is trying to protect her heart for a long time. Both meet each other during the Christmas holidays and they think that they can become friends but they decide that they will not take their relationship to the next level.
Soon they find out that they have been flirting with each other online for a long period of time. After this, all they need is a little Christmas magic to work for them during these holidays. The children provide opportunities for them to come closer and one thing adds to another in order to bring them close enough to kiss. Christmas brings their past happiness back this time and they start enjoying the warmth of true love again.
