Within the Woods is a horror novel by Tony Urban. Horror genre only works well and is successful when we care about the people involved. This is exactly what the author, Tony Urban has done in this one. The narration of this horror novel is beautifully given by Thomas Rode.
This horror story revolves mainly around a 12 year old boy by the name of Garrett. He along with his 4 best buddies are enjoying a super pleasant summer of 1989. But, all the fun and excitement for Garrett comes to an end, when he discovered that his elder brother has vanished. He had absolutely no idea what had happened and how to deal with this all. Something is very suspicious in Sallow Creek, in the state of Pennsylvania.
The story further goes on to tell that something is very weirdly converting their relatives and their neighbors into irresistible monstrosities. These are the monsters, which are coming for them, for their lives and making them disappear just out of nowhere.
In short, the entire small town is under siege. The grown-ups were seeing all this, but not ready to believe anything about monsters. All the hope is now with Garrett and his 4 close friends. Will they be able to solve the mystery?
Tony Urban excels in the horror fiction genre and have produced a good count of other novels as well, besides the one under subject.
