Double-Blind is a mystery thriller. It is the sixth chapter in Kendra Michael’s novel series. The author of this book is the duo of mother-son, who is Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen. They both produced some magnificent thrillers in this series already and one of them is The Naked Eye. Another worth mentioning mystery thriller from the same series is Night Watch.

Elisabeth Rodgers seemed to have learned from her mistakes with narration in the earlier chapters of the series. You will find her performance to be flawless and equally good as what you experienced in the fifth chapter.

Kendra was reluctant to help the FBI with the latest case she was offered to investigate. But things changed when she learned about the details. The body was discovered only a few blocks away from the condo of Kendra. The man was having an envelope which had her name on it. There was an SD card inside that envelope. It was a harmless movie about a wedding reception. Just a week before the attempted delivery of that mysterious wedding video, the groom in it got murdered.

    Double Blind

The body count started to rise as a serial killer was on the loose. Kendra in the meantime joined hands with Jessie, the private investigator, and Adam Lynch, who hire an agent. They soon discovered that every victim involved in the serial killing case played some sort of a part in convicting a killer many years before. The serial killer this time was seeking vengeance.

The story is not as good as what people expected from the authors and the series. There is way too much unnecessary kind of banter between the different characters. You will feel this one be more of a romantic novel than a mystery thriller.
