Everything’s Eventual: 5 Dark Tales By Stephen King
The story tells us about the dark world of Stephen once again. The story has element of other such stories of King like Blood and Smoke and The Man in the Black Suit: 4 Dark Tales. The tales tell us the meaning of eventual quite well as for the boy in the story the task assigned is eventual which means amazing or wonderful for the boy. The narration also has played quite a role in making it interesting. In the boy we see the zeal that we once observed in The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger. Each of the story present has a certain specific flavor of its own that makes us delve further into the land of imagination which we also start to think is awesome, that’s the word the depicts the feelings of the boy in the story as well
. After observing the interest of the boy in the assigned tasks we too develop a passion to complete our own tasks with such passion and emotion but the problem remain that our tasks are not eventual all the time. The struggle of a teenager is once again highlighted that is up till now has become a routine in King’s work and one can guess this at the very beginning of the story when it starts unfolding. These stories also remind us of Roland as well, and this has been the asset of King’s work that he never let us forgets his characters at all. We meet them or their look alike in many stories and they remain alive in our memories.
