Heir Today, Pawn Tomorrow: A LitRPG/GameLit Novel The Good Guys Series, Book 2

The novel is written by Eric Ugland, who managed to make it relevant for his audience with some brilliant characterization and a well thought novel’s plot. The book is a science fiction fantasy and also chapter 2 of The Good Guy Series, which is a redemption tale of a bad guy. Eric is known for his science fiction novels, where a few top of the line works by him are The Bare Hunt and One More Last Time.

Neil Hellegers is back again after his super exciting performance in the first chapter. Once again, he played brilliantly. You will adore him for his expression and accent, and also switching seamlessly between the different characters he played in the novel.

The new life of Montana in Vuldranni is not quite the serene protracted fishing trip that he was always hoping for. But, you have to admit that he is doing really god for himself. Vuldranni is actually the medieval fantasy world where he got himself into. Now he is Montana Coggeshall, who is an heir to dukedom only if he is able to get his team to Osterstadt and have it claimed just in time.

The story is a heart-pounding adventure that goes through an uncharted fantasy territory. If you are the type looking for a great quest that is full of ghost royals, hellbeasts and wyrm guts then this is the novel for you.

It is a fantastic story, but a bit short for the liking of many audience. The story flows well and isn’t too complicated. You will experience some new characters added from the first chapter and they really add a great flavor to the plot.
