The NUMA crew finds itself in another thrilling adventure. Clive Cussler knits another tale that leads the NUMA crew to an underwater graveyard for an investigation process. The story starts when the leader of the team Kurt Austin and his front man Joe Zavala are in search of a race on which they can use their prototype and this time if their prototype succeeds they can enjoy a permanent relax life after that as it can play a vital part in saving the world of course and the NUMA crew would not be called each time there is trouble in any part of the world.
However again the captain and its team is not having too good a time when they are told about the destruction of a Japanese ship and after that they are told that a band of pirates took advantage of the situation but they also prove to be unlucky as their own ships got destroyed in the explosion enhancing the catastrophe even further than expected. This time they even take the help of the scientists even that could tell something about magnetic and these extraordinary happening over and underwater.
We can also enjoy certain stories by the same writer like Sea of Greed – Clive Cussler & Graham Brown, Oregon Files ~ Books 1-13 – Clive Cussler, Craig Dirgo, Jack Du Brul, Boyd Morrison these stories also have the same sort of action and mystery that can be enjoyed till the end. The NUMA crew takes the help of the Russian operative as well which is a new thing in the story. Scott Brick has narrated well and kept a nice pace with the story, though the narration does not go up or down in tone but still it is perfect.
