Eve Dallas finds the toughest case of her career because the killer is affecting her mind in an entirely new way. She and her rich husband have been celebrities in the town for a decade now because she has solved all the cases that come to her and her husband has all the riches one can imagine. The murderer that now comes to the streets of the city is an odd one as he has an obsession for this young lieutenant. He claims that he kills for her and the dead bodies are humble offerings from him to her. He does not only think that she is pretty, he thinks that she has all the beauty nature can offer.
The case becomes a fuss for her personal life as well and proves a new psychological thriller as compared to Vendetta in Death or Golden in Death. This time there is pure lust and hunger in the eyes of the killer that not only makes him more dangerous but more appealing as well. We even find a soft corner for him in the heart of Eve as well because he pretends to be so caring.
